I'm really gutted i'm going to miss RESET because I'm going to be abroad.
Big ups and sorry to Jude, Second Son and everyone there. I wanted to be there and I know its gonna be a day not to be missed. Hope the sun comes out for you lot.

The RESET returns this May Bank Holiday with 14 independent UK brands selling their collections to the public.

The event takes place at the 1948 (Nike) space as a 2 day pop up store with music and food. Wah! Nails will be providing something for the ladies and Zone7 style providing something for those of you keen on your vintage.

The reset is a community event with no entrance fee so come down and support your local brands!

They've done it again.......

Over the last few yours we've seen Second Son pulling away from T-shirt prints and putting together some dapper, gentrified, cut and sew pieces. From their salvage denim, which holds its own in terms of cut and hi quality, to their shirts with little fine details and pig suede elbow patches. Also not forgetting one of their most resent ventures with DURKL on making a deer stalker cap, complete with pipe.

Well, i'm here to tell you that Rufus Exton and Will Kemp founders of Second Son have done it again.

With amazing color and fabric choices we see them produce some pretty stush belts.
All hand made in italy using but only the finest of materials and i'm fully loving the embossed logo on the buckle, nice touch.

You'll be able to purchase these exclusive at the Reset day and then on the Second Son website there after.

Off to Porto again next Monday to visit my mum for a few weeks.
It ain't no holiday and I'm gonna be working, so don't think i'm living the life.
It will be nice to get away, catch up with my mum and some good friends.

It rained quite a lot but we still managed to have a good time and get out n about.

It's been a long time coming, but Second Son and their extended family member Nash Money have finally got around to making a collab. Nash has transferred his signature moccasin cross stitch from sneakers to clothing with a large-scale photographic print that circles the entire hem of the tee, topped off with a collaborative logo crest at the chest pocket. The t-shirt is available in two colourways: Nash's trademark electric blue on a white tee and bright teal on black. The Second Son X Nash collab will be launched in-store at Donuts in Bristol on Friday 23rd April. The first drop of Second Son's S/S '10 range will be available for sale alongside a display of Nash's best custom work and a photographic exhibition. Music will be provided by Noisses and Crazylegs DJs, while the free booze comes courtesy of Havana Club rum. Be there or be square...

Being that I've not studied photoshop but enjoy mucking about on it and it being a useful instrument to master i found this site really inspiring and helpful and i hope you do to.

DURKL X Second Son, Capital Collection Sherlock pack

Washington D.C.'s DURKL introduces the first piece of the Capital Collection series.

The Capital Collection is a series of collaborations between DURKL and brands from other capital cities around the globe. The collection seeks to incorporate the individuality of each city while staying true to the street culture we all love. Joining forces with London's Second Son, together they produced the Capital Collection sherlock cap; a 5-panel hunting cap featuring traditional tan houndstooth fabric and interior diamond quilting. Designed in London and produced in America, the package comes complete with a traditional English tobacco pipe.

Fixxie meets Harris Tweed at the V&A's Fashion v Sport

Featured in the Fashion v Sport exhibition, Dashing Tweeds, Britain's latest tweed textile company, present the Urban Tweed range. Inspired by the colourscape of London, from wet pavements of Piccadilly to the green parks of St. James', the Dashing Tweeds range is brought to life by military tailor Kashkets in a design for the urban cyclist. With the added benefit of a Teflon coating, the design includes specially cut cycling plus-fives that have side buttons, and a clever action back to allow free movement while pedalling hard.

Thats right peeps, you heard right. The new Second Son collection is about to drop and its better than ever, with its dapper don ye oldie english regal tip style.

I was well honored to be asked to be part of the look book for the second time with co-model Leo the lurcher dog and new face Raskitt. As top notch models we had to get in touch with our inner Zoolander, as we embarked to travel back in time to ye oldie english heritage. What better way to do this but to shoot shot guns as well as smoke pipes, drink Brandy, walk from the west wing to the East wing, go on hikes and lounge by the fire place while reading the FT (SURE).

Anyways, this is a little taster of whats to come from the Second Son look book. enjoy

Friday night saw the launch of Second Son's Pop-up shop at Brick Lane's Bodhi Gallery (basement level).

Being good friends of Second Son and also being the face of their last seasons look book, plus the fact I am exhibiting my custom sneakers and hats throut the duration of the pop-up store, I went down early friday morning to help out, and do finishing touches for the opening as most of the work had conveniently taken place the day before.

It was quite funny and it felt like i was in a scene from Being John Malkovich as there were loads of life size cut outs of me from the look book all over the gallery. Its a weird experience but quite flattering at the same time.

I'd been ill all week with the ruffest cold/flu, so i was so relieved when mid day a large delivery of Vitamin Water got dropped off. If you are feelin ill, Defence followed by some Multi-V is by far the one, sorted me right out.

Got to thank Sofi Donuts and Cat at Vitaminwater for the "complimentary" hook up. THANK YOU XX

The Party was BIG. I was so stoked to see so many friends and faces from the industry pile in. The feedback was so good and more importantly every one was really enjoying themselves. I could have not asked for a better mood.

I was so glad to see my team mate model and Second face of the look book honour us with his presence, Leo the Lurcher Dog. It would not have been the same without him there.

Not only was there the opportunity to see some killer deals on Second Son's past collections, see some amazing prints/art work from Will Kemp (Creative/Co Creator of Second Son), plus the outstanding and by far superior work from me HAHA SURE ;) !! - but also the opportunity to have a sneak preview at Second Son's next season collection. Which to me is the pucking nuts. I really look forward to see the success it brings them next year and wish them all the best.

Props to Tom and Luke on the decks at Bodhi's ground level Bar and the after party.

The party was abruptly finished when about 11 O'clock the rozzers came and shut us down. I think it was due to so many people having a such good time or something like that. You never really know with those dudes. But heay, a party getting busted by the cops is a good look anyways, right? It would not be the last time we had an encounter with the POLICE that night. As one of our mates (Ken) got caught urinating on brick lane and fined £80, but I'll not say much about that now as its quite a funny story and is worthy of a separate post in itself.

So we moved on to the after party at Commercial Street's Gramaphone (not before picking up a bagel and compulsary jam donut from east side's notorious 24hr Beigel Bake). I can't tell you much about Gramaphone as I was quite intoxicated by then so i'll let the pictures do the talking.

I just want to holla at everyone that came down and made it what it was. It would have not been, if it had not been for you lot. HOL-LLAAAAAAA and thanks

It’s something I would have imaged finding on the silent duck blog. My friends at diesel told me the original animation was mad funny as it did not cover the porn seen very well and had to be re-touched. The Second Son temporary pop-up shop launches at Bodhi Gallery in Brick Lane on Saturday 27th Sept (this weekend). To celebrate and drown their sorrows after having to build a shop in a day, they are throwing a launch party on Friday 26th Sept from 7-11pm. There will be DJs, free beer, hot chicks (we promise) and a specially-made Second Son ‘Yes Juice’ cocktail mixed by the bartenders from Hakkasan.
